World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard has denied he has reached an agreement with Bayern Munich.

The Stuttgart defender, who has attracted interest from Liverpool, has been linked with Bayern after impressing in Russia this summer.

Reports suggested an agreement was already in place with the German champions to sign Pavard in a €32million deal at the end of this season.

But Pavard, 22, has poured cold water on those claims - although he did admit he only plans to stay with Stuttgart for one more year.

"You journalists said I had signed for Bayern but I am happy at Stuttgart," he told L'Equipe.

"The World Cup arrived sooner than I expected, even for me.

"My plan was to stay another season in Germany. I am at a very big club with fantastic fans. I have signed nothing."

Stuttgart sit rock bottom of the Bundesliga after two games of the season.
