The agent of Roma goalkeeper Alisson has got fans very excited by ‘liking’ an Instagram post suggesting the Brazilian will choose to join Liverpool over Chelsea.

According to latest reports, Liverpool have tabled an offer worth £62million for Alisson.

And now eagle-eyed fans have spotted that Alisson’s agent, Ze Maria Neis, liked an Instagram post claiming he would meet with Roma’s board to discuss a move to Liverpool.

Ze Maria Neis’ own Instagram page is littered of pictures of himself with Alisson, while he is followed by the Brazilian’s verified account.

Crucially, the post was from a Liverpool fan account and had a half-and-half picture of Alisson wearing the Merseyside club’s goalkeeper jersey – not Chelsea’s.

Alisson is currently on holiday in Sardinia after his exploits at the World Cup, where he started five games for Brazil, and some fans have even started tracking private jets in the hope one might be Anfield bound.

Although Chelsea are expected to make a rival offer to Roma for Alisson, The Times report that the 25-year-old has already indicated that his preference is to join Liverpool.

The Reds are keen to sign a new No.1, even if they have to smash the record fee for a goalkeeper.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are bracing themselves for the prospect of losing Thibaut Courtois, who looks set to join Real Madrid as soon as the west Londoners have signed a replacement.
