Alisson has made it clear he would rather join Liverpool over Chelsea.

Reports yesterday claimed the Reds had tabled a £62m bid for the Brazil international, 25.

However, Liverpool have since denied they have tabled an offer for the Roma goalkeeper.

Chelsea are also in the running for Alisson, with new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri willing to pay £70m for the shot-stopper.

However, according to The Times, Alisson has indicated his preferred destination is Liverpool.

They say an agreement on a fee is edging closer as the Reds finally look to land a new No 1.

Alisson’s decision to head to Anfield comes as a huge blow to Chelsea.
