Liverpool have tabled a £58m bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson, reports in Italy claim.

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks.

And according to Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport, Liverpool have tabled a £53m bid, plus £5m in add-ons, for Alisson.

They say the Reds now lead Real Madrid and Chelsea in the race for Roma’s No 1.

Gazetta dello Sport add that Alisson could sign a five-year deal at Anfield - and he would pocket around £115,000-per-week (£5.3m-per-year).

Should the Reds sign Alisson, 25, he would be Klopp’s third summer signing, following midfield duo Naby Keita and Fabinho to Anfield.

The Liverpool boss is keen to spend big this summer to mount a Premier League title charge this season.
