Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele will not be leaving for Arsenal or Liverpool this summer, according to reports.

Barcelona star Dembele has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool after struggling for the Catalan giants last season.

The France international, who is currently in Russia as his side aim to win a first World Cup trophy since 1998, signed as a replacement for Neymar last year in a huge £134million transfer.

However, Dembele toiled at Barcelona and ended the season firmly below the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in the pecking order.

Liverpool have already expressed an interest in the wing wizard, with Jurgen Klopp saying: "Is he available? Then I'm interested."

Arsenal have also been linked with Unai Emery keen to reunite him with former Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Yet the Manchester Evening News suggest Barcelona have decided not to sell the forward.

The club appeared poised to land Antoine Griezmann earlier this summer.

But the Atletico Madrid striker sensationally rejected a move to Barcelona in favour of staying put.

The MEN say Barcelona deem Dembele a player for the future despite his struggles during his maiden campaign.

And Arsenal and Liverpool must now look elsewhere if they wish to bolster their already formidable attacks.
