Liverpool's hopes of signing Nabil Fekir from Lyon are not over, the forward's agent has claimed.

The Reds had looked on the verge of capturing the France international before the World Cup, only for Lyon to announce that the deal was off.

But Jean-Pierre Bernes insists his client, who is currently away on international duty in Russia with France, has yet to resolve his future.

"Well he didn't sign because well… it is not over," he told LCI.

"This is not the end of the story. We now wait for what happens next."

Fekir netted 23 goals for his club this season and won his 12th France cap as a substitute in their World Cup victory over Australia last week.
