Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Flamengo attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and even Real Madrid in recent weeks and is viewed as one of Brazil’s biggest up-and-coming talents.

A Brazilian U20 international, Paqueta has scored three goals and laid on two assists in nine Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A matches this season.

Such has been the South American’s eye-catching form that he was named on the 12-man standby list for Brazil’s World Cup squad in Russia this summer.

And according to PremiumSportHD’s Andersinho Marques, Liverpool have established their interest in Paqueta - who has a £40million release clause in his contract.
