Liverpool target Alisson has hinted his future could be resolved this week ahead of the World Cup.

The Brazilian is on the Reds' radar as Jurgen Klopp seeks a new goalkeeper for the new Premier League season.

And Roma keeper Alisson is among the players on his shortlist... although a deal could be difficult to strike for one of the world's premier custodians.

"Let's see if something happens this week," Alisson told reporters following Brazil's 3-0 victory over Austia.

"I hope it will be resolved, yes, before the World Cup, that's what I want, to be honest.

"I have left the responsibilities of negotiations to my representatives.

"If it's not before the first game, it will be after the World Cup, that's my thinking 100 per cent.

"There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, with respect to Roma."
