Liverpool are set to sign Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke after his Blues contract expires this summer.

The 19-year-old failed to reach an agreement on a new deal at Stamford Bridge with the Reds set to land the highly-rated forward.

The Blues could receive compensation of around £3m for Solanke, with the Premier League tribunal required to set the fee for any player under 24 years of age, report the Liverpool Echo.

Solanke is likely to earn around £20,000 a week and sparks a big summer of change at Anfield after securing Champions League football.

Solanke has been frozen out all year with Chelsea due to his refusal to sign a new deal.

And with Tammy Abraham's success out on loan, Solanke has opted to move in search of better first team opportunities.
