Race hots up for Inter Milan star
Manchester United are hopeful of beating a host of rivals to the signing of Ivan Perisic, reportedly readying a £51million move for the Inter Milan star.
Croatia international Perisic has enjoyed a productive season in Italy, scoring nine goals and contributing three assists for Serie A side Inter.
The 28-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a switch to the Premier League in recent years, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all linked with moves.
Jose Mourinho’s United have also shown persistent interest in the dynamic winger and Gazzetta dello Sport say Perisic has been identified as one of the club’s priority signings.
It is claimed the Red Devils are willing to sanction a £51m offer for the former Wolfsburg ace, who has been at Inter since the summer of 2015.
