Roma are ready to listen to offers for Antonio Rudiger next month which could spark a four-way Premier League battle for his services.

The versatile defender is widely-recognised as one of the continent's best young players.

Indeed, Rudiger is attracting interest from England's elite, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping tabs on his future as they look to bolster their defensive ranks.

And the clubs will be encouraged by the news that Roma will consider selling the 23-year-old in January.

Roma were hit by UEFA sanctions last year for failing to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations and want to ensure they don't suffer the same fate.

Manager Luciano Spalletti doesn't want to lose his key defender, but knows his hands could be tied if the club receive an offer they deem too good to turn down.

Rudiger's future will become much clearer in the coming days as Roma brace themselves for offers for the defender, who can play at centre-half or right-back.
