Barcelona may allow Marc-Andre ter Stegen to join Liverpool or Manchester City in the summer - but only on loan.

The goalkeeper is growing frustrated at the Nou Camp due to the fact he only plays in cup matches, while Claudio Bravo is used for La Liga games.

The German's annoyance has sparked interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, who are both keen to sign him up this summer.

Barcelona are reluctant to sell Ter Stegen but, according to Mundo Deportivo, they may consider letting him leave on loan.

The Spanish champions view the 23-year-old as a key part of their future and a long-term successor to Bravo, who turns 33 in April.

As a result, Barcelona would prefer Ter Stegen to fulfil his desire for first-team football by leaving on loan for a season before returning to become the club's first-choice goalkeeper.
