Liverpool face serious competition to land Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn, according to reports.

The Reds expressed an interest in Horn in the January window and apparently lodged a bid for his services.

However, according to German paper Bild, Manchester United and Arsenal have fixed their sights on the 22-year-old.

The report suggests Horn has made it clear he would like to play abroad, and that United and Arsenal could meet his requirements. When asked about the interest of European clubs, Horn said: "Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United - if such a club made an approach, I would certainly consider it."

Horn, who is contracted with Koln until 2019, is thought to have a release clause of £7million.
