Inter Milan have confirmed their interest in Arsenal and Liverpool target Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The winger's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer and as a result he is expected to leave the club in January.

Arsenal and Liverpool have scouted the 30-year-old, while Barcelona and Juventus are also reportedly keen.

However, Inter Milan have now thrown their hat in the ring after their sporting director, Piero Ausilio, admitted the Italian club admire the Argentina international.

"This summer, we tried to sign him [Lavezzi]," Ausilio told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We were looking for an attacker, but we finally went for Adem Ljajic. There was little chance to sign Lavezzi, he wanted to play Champions League football.

"It was a very expensive-looking transfer, we will see what will happen."
