Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has made Swansea attacker Andre Ayew one of his top transfer targets, according to reports.

The German coach is a huge fan of the Ghanaian and attempted to sign him when he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

He failed in his attempts then but would be confident of landing the forward this time around, according to ESPN.

That’s because Ayew is a Liverpool fan.

In previous interviews he said: "When I was little and I was watching the Premiership I liked Liverpool and I have continued supporting them.

"It would be a dream (to play for Liverpool), but the dream is to play in the Premier League at the highest level."

Swansea landed Ayew on a free transfer in the summer but would command a big fee to part with the Ghana international in January.
