Liverpool have reportedly had a bid of £15m for Henrikh Mkhitaryan accepted by Borussia Dortmund.

The Reds have long been linked with the attacking midfielder and speculation that Brendan Rodgers could lead a bid resurfaced earlier this week.

According to reports, Juventus are also keen on the 26-year-old Armenia international, who joined his current side from Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2013.

Reports today suggest that a bid from Anfield has now been made - and accepted.

Mkhitaryan has made 94 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 24 goals and providing 20 assists.

In February, Mkhitaryan's agent suggested his client's future lay away from Signal Iduna Park: "Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season. We will have to wait and see what we can do."

Liverpool have already made numerous acquisitions this summer, with Christian Benteke, Adam Bogdan, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Danny Ings and James Milner making the move to Anfield.
