Liverpool have been given a boost by the agent of Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto, who has said his client could leave the Spanish club in the summer.

Vietto has enjoyed an incredible campaign for the La Liga side - scoring 20 goals in 39 matches - and has also attracted interest from Barcelona.

Reports in Spain claimed the Reds have made the 21-year-old a 'priority' signing in the summer and the Argentine's agent Jorge Cyterszpiler, who has previously confirmed Liverpool's interest, admits a move could be on the cards.

'He [Vietto] might leave in the summer. It is normal that the best clubs in the world are after him,' Cyterszpiler said.

'If big clubs make an offer, we need to talk. The offer must be very good, not only for us but also for Villarreal.'
