Help LFC TV presenter reach her 5k goal
LFC TV presenter Claire Rourke will join thousands of women nationwide to raise money for Cancer Research later this week - and she wants your support.
Claire is taking part in the five kilometre 'Race for Life 2011' in Leigh and is appealing to all Liverpool fans to help her raise as much cash as possible.
Claire last ran the 'Race for Life' two years ago and raised in excess of £1800 for the charity - but this time around she's set herself a goal of raising much more.
"I'm hoping to raise £5000 this year - 5k for a 5k run," says Claire.
"Every year that I have taken part in the 'Race for Life' I have always had fantastic support from Liverpool fans all over the world and the money they have helped me to raise has been remarkable.
"Cancer Research UK is such an incredible charity and any amount we can raise will hopefully help in some way to find a cure for this heartbreaking disease.
