Jürgen Klopp named on Premier League Manager of the Month shortlist
Jürgen Klopp is shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award.
The Liverpool boss gained a nomination for the September edition of the prize having guided his team to two victories and a draw during the month.
Successive 3-0 wins over Leeds United and Crystal Palace were followed by a 3-3 draw at Brentford as the Reds established themselves as the early leaders this season.
Klopp’s fellow contenders are Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Graham Potter (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Dean Smith (Aston Villa).
