Alisson and Mane shortlisted for Premier League Player of the Month
Alisson Becker and Sadio Mane have been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
The Liverpool duo both played important roles in helping their team register five consecutive victories in May – a run of form that proved sufficient to secure third place in the final standings.
Alisson kept three clean sheets in those matches and, unforgettably, headed in a 95th-minute winner to ensure the Reds beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 at The Hawthorns.
Mane, meanwhile, scored three times – including a brace versus Crystal Palace on the last day of the season – and provided two assists.
