Joel Matip fitness latest
Jürgen Klopp is hopeful Joel Matip will be available for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The No.32 was taken off at half-time during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Fulham after suffering from a back spasm.
But, speaking post-match at Craven Cottage, the manager provided a positive update on the centre-back’s condition.
“Joel Matip has a spasm in his back. We will see. In the moment, nothing else,” said Klopp at his press conference.
“He got already treatment, will get treatment and we will see. I think there’s a chance for Wednesday. [It’s not that bad] in the moment, no.”
