Alisson Becker is in line to reach the landmark of 100 Liverpool appearances in all competitions at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

The goalkeeper, signed from AS Roma in 2018, will bring up the century if he features at a ground where the Reds boast a 100 per cent record.

Four previous visits to the Amex Stadium have yielded four wins for the club – three in the Premier League, including a 3-1 victory last season, and one in the League Cup.

Liverpool’s next goal on the road will be their 250th away from home on an opposition ground in all competitions under Jürgen Klopp. This will be his 136th such game.

The Reds’ biggest league win at Brighton was the 5-1 overseen by Klopp in 2017, a day when Roberto Firmino was on the scoresheet twice.

The club’s only red card received in meetings with the Seagulls was shown to Alisson when the sides met at Anfield on this weekend last season.

Diogo Jota bagged a brace at the Amex Stadium in 2019-20, during Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 2-2 draw with Brighton.

Jordan Henderson’s last Liverpool goal came at this venue in July.

The Seagulls have yet to win at home this season in four league games. They lost 3-1 to Chelsea and 3-2 to Manchester United, but have since drawn with West Bromwich Albion (1-1) and Burnley (0-0).

Brighton boss Graham Potter appeared once against the Reds as a player, for Stoke City at Anfield in a League Cup tie in 1994.

Adam Lallana switched between the teams in the summer, moving to the south coast after six seasons as a Liverpool player.

Lallana scored 22 goals in 178 matches in all competitions for the Reds.
