Jürgen Klopp on Premier League Manager of the Month shortlist
Jürgen Klopp has been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September.
The Liverpool boss led his side to three consecutive wins to kick off their defence of the title, with victories over Leeds United (4-3), Chelsea (2-0) and Arsenal (3-1).
That form earned Klopp a nomination for the top flight’s monthly accolade, which he won on five occasions in 2019-20.
He is up against Carlo Ancelotti (Everton), Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City) and Dean Smith (Aston Villa), who each oversaw a 100 per cent record for their team.
