A win over Everton tonight would hand Jürgen Klopp his 100th Premier League victory as Liverpool manager to set a new club record.

The first Merseyside derby of the 2019-20 campaign will be Klopp's 159th top-flight fixture in charge of the Reds.

With Klopp sitting on 99 league victories, Kenny Dalglish is currently the club's record holder for reaching a century in the fewest number of games – achieving the feat after 167 matches.

This will be the 234th Merseyside derby and it is English football's most-played derby. In the Premier League there have been 54 encounters, with Liverpool winning 23 and Everton nine.

Klopp is unbeaten in eight league and cup meetings with the Blues, winning five of them.

Divock Origi, with three, has scored more derby goals for Liverpool than any other current player in the squad.

Liverpool have scored five stoppage-time winners against Everton in the Premier League – the last being Origi’s header this time last year.

A goal from James Milner would see him become the fifth-oldest Liverpool player ever to score against Everton (in all competitions) at the age of 33 years and 334 days.

Mohamed Salah could make the 100th Premier League appearance of his career, the first 13 of which came with Chelsea.

Liverpool are the only team in all four top divisions to score in every league game.

Everton have won two of their last 33 league visits to Anfield, with the last win coming in 1999 when Kevin Campbell scored four minutes into the game.

Klopp's men are unbeaten at Anfield in 47 league games, winning 37 and drawing 10. They have been behind for a total of 154 minutes, 51 of those coming against Tottenham Hotspur in October.

The Reds have won each of the last 29 games in which they have scored the first goal, including the penalty shootout victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
