Heartbreak for Sadio Mane in Cup of Nations final
There was disappointment for Sadio Mane in the Africa Cup of Nations final as Senegal were beaten 1-0 by Algeria in Cairo.
The Liverpool forward played the whole 90 minutes of a decider that was settled by an early goal from Baghdad Bounedjah.
It meant heartbreak for Mane and his country in their effort to claim the continental crown in Africa.
The 27-year-old will now take an end-of-season break before returning to the Reds at a date still to be confirmed.
