Andy Robertson scored a stunning long-range goal to set Scotland on their way to a 2-1 victory over Cyprus on Saturday evening.

The Liverpool left-back arrowed a shot into the top corner from outside the box on the hour mark while captaining his country in a Euro 2020 qualifier at Hampden Park.

Ioannis Kousoulos looked to have snatched a draw for the visitors late on, but Oliver Burke’s 89th-minute winner ensured new Scotland boss - and former Reds coach - Steve Clarke began his reign with all three points.

Earlier in the day, Dejan Lovren and Harry Wilson both played the full 90 minutes as Croatia defeated Wales 2-1 in Osijek.
