Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could make a landmark appearance in Monday night's clash with West Ham United.

The 28-year-old midfielder will play the 300th Premier League match of his career if selected at the London Stadium.

Henderson made 71 top-flight appearances for boyhood club Sunderland before moving to Anfield in June 2011 and racking up another 228 so far.

Liverpool have scored four or more goals in a record four successive games against West Ham - 4-0 (a), 4-1 (a), 4-1 (h), 4-0 (h). The Reds had never previously achieved the feat against any team in their top-flight history.

Jürgen Klopp's men could set a new LFC record by scoring four goals away from home against the same opponent in three successive seasons.

The last nine league meetings in London between the clubs have produced a total of 35 goals, with Liverpool scoring 21 of them.

There has not been a league draw between the teams in the capital since December 2001 (a 1-1 stalemate). Since then Liverpool have won nine and lost four.

Overall in the Premier League, the Reds have won 27 of the 45 meetings with West Ham, drawing nine and losing nine.

Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in five goals in his three Reds appearances against the Hammers, with four goals and one assist.

Salah could become only the second Liverpool player to score in four successive league clashes with West Ham, following Billy Liddell in April 1958.

The Egyptian's next strike will see him become the first Liverpool player since Luis Suarez in 2013-14 to score 20 league and cup goals in consecutive seasons for the club.

Current Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has won two of his seven meetings with Liverpool in the Premier League, both victories coming with Manchester City, with whom he also lost four times.
