Trent Alexander-Arnold has stepped up his rehabilitation from a knee injury at Melwood this week by completing ball-work sessions on the outdoor training pitches.

The defender has been out of action since sustaining the issue against Brighton and Hove Albion on January 12, missing the clashes with Crystal Palace and Leicester City as a result.

Jürgen Klopp confirmed in his pre-West Ham United press conference that Alexander-Arnold will also sit out Monday’s trip to the Hammers, but is set to return to full training next week.

And our photographer was on hand at Melwood on Friday afternoon to capture the latest step in the No.66’s recovery, which you can view in our gallery below - or LFCTV GO subscribers can watch footage above.
