Paris Saint-Germain forwards Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have been confirmed as fit to start against Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The Reds travelled out to Paris on Tuesday afternoon for their fifth fixture in Champions League Group C, which could be pivotal in deciding which two teams progress to the knockout rounds.

Mbappe and Neymar had been doubts for the hosts having each sustained injuries during the recent international break but PSG coach Thomas Tuchel revealed on the eve of the tie that both will line up against Liverpool.

“Neymar is 100 per cent and Mbappe as well,” said Tuchel at his pre-match press conference. “They are fit, they trained today and yesterday, and they will line up tomorrow.”
