Jürgen Klopp will aim for the 300th league victory of his managerial career when Liverpool face Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Having overseen 101 wins with Mainz and then 133 at the helm of Borussia Dortmund, the German has recorded 65 in the Premier League since taking charge of the Reds.

Liverpool have scored 17 goals in the last five meetings home and away, conceding four in that time. Of the goals scored, 11 have come in the last two Anfield clashes.

The two clubs have yet to produce a goalless draw in league meetings, with all 22 of those clashes coming in the top flight.

The Reds' biggest victory on this ground came in February 1988 when they won 4-1 with goals from Peter Beardsley (two), John Aldridge and John Barnes.

Mohamed Salah is already Liverpool's second-highest scorer against Watford, with five goals in two appearances. Only Ian Rush (10 goals in 11 appearances) has scored more.

Roberto Firmino has found the net four times in six matches against the Hornets.

The Reds have not lost any of the 21 away matches in all competitions in which Firmino has scored - 18 wins and three draws.

Alisson Becker has kept seven clean sheets in the league this season, the most by any Premier League goalkeeper with the exception of compatriot Ederson, who has also recorded seven for Manchester City.

The only team in the last 20 league fixtures to score more than once in a game against the Reds was West Bromwich Albion in a 2-2 draw back in April. Current Watford 'keeper Ben Foster was in goal for West Brom that day.

Should Liverpool keep a clean sheet they will record their fewest number of goals (five) ever conceded after 13 games of a league season.

Watford began this campaign with four successive league wins for the first time ever in the Premier League, beating Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur at home, and Burnley away.

Since then they have won two in eight, taking maximum points at Wolverhampton Wanderers and at home to Huddersfield Town.

Javi Gracia will be the fourth different Watford manager in this fixture in the last four seasons, following Quique Sanchez Flores (2015-16), Walter Mazzarri (2016-17) and Marco Silva last season.
