Liverpool will make a late decision on Sadio Mane's involvement against Huddersfield Town today.

The No.10 required surgery earlier this week after sustaining a hand injury while on international duty with Senegal.

That has left Mane’s availability for the trip to John Smith’s Stadium in doubt, with Jürgen Klopp set to take advice before judging whether to include his forward.

“I really don’t know yet. We have to see,” the manager said on Friday.

“Three days ago, Sadio came home, it was diagnosed. At the moment I have no clue what he can do with the brace on.

“We will see what he wants to do. It’s all about the player. If he thinks he can play then I need to make a decision about how it looks.”
