'Firmino copies my celebrations, not the other way around!'
From dancing to kung-fu kicks, it was thought that Sadio Mane was Roberto Firmino’s copycat when it came to goal celebrations.
Not so, according to the man himself.
Liverpool forward Mane has insisted that he is the creator of such routines, and teammate Firmino simply follows where he leads.
“The fans deserve to know the truth - Firmino copies me, not me copying him!” the Reds’ No.10 told Copa90.
“The kick was me. We try it in training. He scored and I was behind him, and he did it.
“The dance with Philippe [Coutinho] and Bobby was mine too!”
