Team news: Confirmed Liverpool line-up v Napoli
Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino start for Liverpool in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Napoli in Dublin.
Goalkeeper Alisson makes his debut for the Reds, while his fellow Brazilian Firmino comes in for his first appearance of pre-season after both reported for duty in Evian earlier this week following their participation at the World Cup.
Naby Keita returns to the team after being ruled out of the victories over Manchester City and Manchester United in the United States due to a stiff neck, with Georginio Wijnaldum also starting after he missed the game against United.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, who began pre-season training in France earlier this week, is named on the bench.
Ragnar Klavan is unavailable due to a minor hamstring strain, and Adam Lallana (hamstring) and Marko Grujic (calf) are also absent as precautions.
Joel Matip (hip flexor) and Danny Ings also miss out. Ings is completing further training sessions at Melwood with Jürgen Klopp intending to give game time to other forwards in the squad at the Aviva Stadium.
