Jürgen Klopp has explained the reasons behind his decision to make two changes for Liverpool's meeting with Newcastle United.

Jordan Henderson and Dejan Lovren come into the starting XI at Anfield, replacing James Milner and Joel Matip from the side that defeated West Ham United.

"[It's] to keep them all going. They are all in good shape," said the manager.

"Millie got a knock in the last game; he is in really good shape so we thought long about what he could do.

"But we have 11 100 per cent fit players so we should not risk anything. That's the reason."
