Davison to leave Liverpool Ladies
Liverpool Ladies today confirmed that Gemma Davison will be leaving the club to join Chelsea Ladies.
On the transfer, Davison said: "Obviously having won the Women's Super League in my first season it has been a difficult decision to move on, but I feel as though moving back to London was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.
"I really enjoyed my year at Liverpool Ladies and winning the Women's Super League with a different club to Arsenal was a really special moment.
"I would also like to thank everyone involved with Liverpool Football Club, including all of the staff, for their fantastic support and hard work over the course of the season.
"However, having considered all my options, I feel as though moving to Chelsea presents me with a new and exciting challenge."
Everyone at Liverpool Ladies thanks Gemma for her valuable contribution last season and wishes her the best of luck for the future.
