Kop Kids, the show which has delighted young Liverpool fans around the world time and again since it was first broadcast on LFCTV in May 2012, makes its return at 4.15pm GMT this afternoon.

The programme is produced by kids for the kids; however, there's nothing small in stature about the caliber of first-team talents who have featured on the show during the nine episodes that have been made to date.

Steven Gerrard, Brendan Rodgers and Daniel Sturridge are amongst the extensive list of stars who have felt the full force of our inquisitive young reporters and their probing interrogative styles.

In total, interviews and features, ranging from fairground trials with Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva to footballing clichés with Philippe Coutinho, have attracted more than eight million YouTube hits.

And so, last month we announced that Kop Kids was on the lookout for fresh faces to present and report - and the latest instalment tells the tale of that search for our new stars.

Entitled 'Kop Kids: The Auditions', the show is as funny and touching as each of its predecessors, as we first encounter a host of hundreds of youngsters at Anfield, each hoping to nail down a role on the programme.

The episode then traces the progress of those who make it through to the next round of try-outs, where they come face-to-face with our judges - LFCTV's Claire Rourke and Peter McDowall, and former Red, Jason McAteer.

Singers, dancers, comedians, impersonators, commentators and much more, all aged between the age of seven and 10, turn out in an attempt to impress our judges - and you can enjoy some of the best turns in our latest show, hosted by the brilliant Neil Fitzmaurice.

'Kop Kids: The Auditions' will air for the first time on LFCTV at 4.15pm. For more information on our recently re-launched channel, and to sign up now, click here.
