Robbie Fowler has spoken about making his big screen debut in James Marquand's 'One Night in Istanbul', which heads to the ODEON Liverpool One next week.

Fowler has a cameo role in the film - which is out on Wednesday September 10 - and whilst the Reds legend has been sworn to secrecy over his involvement, he did reveal a little to LFCTV.

"I can't say too much about my role because it's very top secret so you'll just have to go and see the film to find out," he laughed.

"What I can say is that it involves a car, going to someone's house and there's a speaking part in it for me too. It's only a small part, I enjoyed it but the real heroes are the stars of the film who were on the set all the time and worked really hard.

"It was different, I enjoyed it but it was nerve wracking and so I have to take my hat off all the actors and actresses because it's not easy.

"It's a really good film, the final cut is excellent. I can't wait to see the reaction from fans when they see it."
