Claret Jug on display at Liverpool superstore
As part of a tour of the city, organised by the R&A, the Open Championship Claret Jug will be displayed at the official Liverpool Football Club Superstore in Liverpool ONE on Saturday.
The treasured trophy, won last year by Phil Mickleson and in 2011 by Reds fan Darren Clarke, will be on show from 5pm to 7pm - and golfing fans won't want to miss on an opportunity to see one of the most prestigious prizes in sport.
This year's Open Championship will be held at Royal Liverpool from July 13-20 and you can purchase your tickets by May 31 for early season prices. U16s can see the tournament for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
The event will be preceded by four practice days from the July 13-16, where visitors can watch golfing legends in full swing before the contest has even begun. Tickets for the practice days start from £10.
