How would you like to spend a night in the company of a Liverpool cult hero, whose introduction set the ball rolling on one of the greatest nights in the club's history?

Dietmar Hamann, the man who helped shape the Reds' comeback on that famous night in Istanbul in 2005, will be on hand for a special dinner event at Anfield on Wednesday, May 14.

'The Kaiser', who arrived at Anfield from Newcastle in 1999, instantly fell in love with Liverpool the club, the city and its people.

Over the seven years that followed, the talented holding midfielder became as famed for his style and composure on the pitch as for his wit and character off it.

Hamann played his part in the treble of 2001, the League Cup success of 2003, picked up an FA Cup winners' medal in 2006 and, of course, made a decisive appearance in the Reds' Champions League triumph of 2005.

And now LFC are offering fans a special chance to hear first-hand the stories behind the legend - as LFC TV's Peter McDowall hosts a truly unique evening at the home of the Reds.

Last year's event with Hamann proved to be a huge success - a sell-out no less - and we're expecting the same sort of turnout on the night this time around.

Guests can enjoy a red carpet reception and arrival drink followed by a delicious three-course evening meal. Then there's an exclusive after-dinner question and answer session with the guest of honour before photo and autograph opportunities with Didi.

Tickets are £65 per person and it promises to be an unforgettable night, so make sure you don't miss out. To book now call, 0151 263 7744.
