A popular Dutchman who plundered 71 goals for Liverpool in almost 300 appearances is the focus in the sixth episode of 'Back of the Net' – with Dirk Kuyt bringing the curtain down on the show's first series.

So far, we have travelled along memory lane with tributes to Robbie Fowler, Peter Crouch, Luis Garcia, Danny Murphy and John Arne Riise, and now it's the turn of a man renowned for hard work.

Kuyt arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2006 and would notch double figures in all but one of his six seasons on Merseyside, lifting one trophy during his time with the Reds: the 2011-12 Carling Cup.

The forward, who regularly operated from the right flank, was on target in that showpiece occasion, scored in a Champions League final, struck a hat-trick against Manchester United and was a nemesis to Everton.

What better way to recall Kuyt's greatest moments than by tuning in to 'Back of the Net', a programme which blends a wealth of goals with statistics, quotes and more.

The new edition will premiere on the club's official television channel, LFC TV, at 9.30pm GMT on Thursday. Click here for information on accessing LFC TV.

Episode six of the show will also be available on demand for LFC TV Online subscribers shortly before broadcast. Not yet signed up? Click here to join and for further information.
