Luis Suarez is out to continue his excellent scoring record in the FA Cup when Liverpool host Oldham Athletic in the third round on Sunday - here are all of the facts and figures from club statistician, Ged Rea.

The Kop No.7 has fired five goals in six FA Cup appearances - the 2012 final being the only game in which he has not managed to find the back of the net in this tournament.

Here are all the rest of the pre-match facts and stats...

Suarez captained Liverpool for the first time in last season's meeting at Boundary Park.

The teams are meeting for the third season in a row in this competition.

Liverpool won a third-round tie 5-1 at Anfield two years ago. Robbie Simpson gave the Latics a 28th-minute lead but by half-time the Reds were in front through Craig Bellamy and Steven Gerrard (penalty). Jonjo Shelvey, Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing completed the scoring after the break.

Only Martin Kelly and Steven Gerrard of the team that started that last Anfield meeting have a chance of playing in this game. Sebastian Coates is injured while Jon Flanagan came off the bench.

Last season, Oldham eliminated the Reds in the fourth round, winning 3-2 at Boundary Park. Matt Smith (2) and Reece Wabara scored for the hosts, with Suarez and Joe Allen netting for Liverpool.

Liverpool defeated non-league Mansfield Town 2-1 at Field Mill at this stage last season - Daniel Sturridge (on his debut) and Suarez scored the goals.

The Reds have been knocked out of the FA Cup at this stage three times in the last seven seasons.

Brendan Rodgers has won five of his nine games as a manager in this competition. He reached the fifth round with Watford in 2008-09 but never progressed beyond round four in two seasons with Swansea City.

Brighton were the last team to beat Liverpool in successive FA Cup seasons, doing so in 1982-83 and 1983-84.

This is the first time the Reds have met the same team in three successive seasons in the FA Cup since facing Southampton between 1924 and 1926.

Suarez has scored 20 goals in his last 15 games and he has found the net 15 times in his last seven Anfield appearances.

The Reds have won 11 of their last 12 home games in league and cup, have scored in the last 10 games in all competitions and in 14 of the last 15 matches.

At Anfield, Liverpool have scored 25 goals in their last seven games.

The Latics have won twice at Anfield. They recorded a 3-0 victory in October 1913 and won again - this time 2-1 - 14 months later.

After beating Liverpool last season, the Latics went out in round five, beaten in a replay at Goodison Park by Everton.

Of the team that beat Liverpool last season, only Jonathan Grounds, James Wesolowski and substitutes Carl Winchester and David Mellor are still at Boundary Park.

Oldham's last win at Anfield came in December 1914, when they won 2-1.

Both Latics' FA Cup ties this season have gone to replays. They won at Wolves in round one and at Mansfield in round two, where they came from a goal down at half-time to score four times in the final 33 minutes.

Danny Philliskirk and Adam Rooney have scored in both rounds this season - both away from home.

The Latics are currently 19th in League One - two places above the drop-zone but only on goal difference.

They have won one of their last nine games since the beginning of December after winning each of the previous four.

They have not kept a clean sheet in the last 10 games and in only one of the last 18.

Oldham have not scored a second-half goal in the last four games.
