U21 fixtures for 2013-14 announced
The 2013-14 Barclays Premier League fixture list for Liverpool's U21 side has been announced, with Alex Inglethorpe's team set to begin their new season at home to Southampton on Monday, August 12.
A new format has been introduced for the U21 division this season, with 22 teams facing each other once - home or away - before the top four finishers progress to the semi-final stage in April 2014.
The altered programme means the young Reds are guaranteed fixtures against local rivals Everton and Manchester United; Inglethorpe's charges face the former away from home on December 16 and travel to the latter on August 19.
