Remember the likes of Stephen Warnock, Danny Guthrie and John Welsh? The former Academy graduates have gone on to prove there is life after Anfield. We have found 26 graduates who are still playing to this day...

Please note this list only includes players currently playing in the Barclays Premier League, Football League and in Scotland.

Stephen Warnock
The former Academy graduate is now captain of Leeds United and is also a regular pundit on LFC TV. He made 67 appearances for the Reds, scoring once. After leaving Anfield he made his England debut and played in the top-flight for Aston Villa. He made several appearances in the victorious Champions League run in 2004-05.

Stephen Darby
After making just six first-team appearances at Anfield, the right-back has enjoyed a fantastic time at Bradford City. He played at Wembley in the Capital One Cup final last season and returned to the national stadium as Phil Parkinson's side won promotion to League One via the play-off final.

John Welsh
The former reserve-team skipper made 10 appearances for his beloved Reds. After a spell at Tranmere Rovers as captain, he is now at Preston North End and looking forward to a Liverpool reunion at Deepdale on July 13.

David Raven
The right-back is probably best remembered for a fantastic last-ditch tackle on Jermain Defoe during the memorable Carling Cup win at White Hart Lane in 2004-05. Raven made four first-team appearances before spells arrived at Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Shrewsbury Town. He is currently playing in Scotland for Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Thomas Ince
The England U21 star is currently at Blackpool under his dad and former Red, Paul Ince. Tom made just one first-team appearance for the Reds when Roy Hodgson brought him off the bench in the Carling Cup defeat by Northampton Town.

Gary Mackay-Steven 
The Scotland U21 international was a regular at the Academy under Hughie McAuley and has gone on to enjoy success back in his homeland with Dundee United. He was also recently called up to the full Scotland squad under Gordan Strachan.

Jon Otsemobor
The speedy right-back was a popular figure amongst regular reserve-team goers and made six first-team appearances. He is currently playing for MK Dons under Karl Robinson and scored a memorable FA Cup goal against AFC Wimbledon in a televised game last season. 'Semi' also had spells with the likes of Norwich City, Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday.

Darren Potter
The Scouser made 17 appearances in the first XI before moving for pastures new. He made an appearance off the bench in Austria en route to Istanbul in the qualifier against Grazer AK and was an unused sub against Juventus. He is currently patrolling the midfield for MK Dons under the guidance of former Academy coach Karl Robinson and made 46 appearances last season.

Lee Peltier 
The versatile Scouser made four first-team appearances at Anfield and he is still playing alongside Stephen Warnock at Leeds United. Peltier did actually play at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul for Liverpool when he started in the Champions League clash with Galatasaray in 2006-07. He also had spells at Leicester, when he was signed by Sven Goran Eriksson, and Huddersfield Town.

Daniel Ayala
The Spanish centre-back made five first-team appearances at Anfield and is currently at Barclays Premier League outfit Norwich City. However, he spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Danny Guthrie
The former reserve-team skipper is currently preparing for life in the Championship following Reading's relegation from the Premier League last season. Guthrie enjoyed a good spell in the top-flight with Newcastle United before moving to Reading last season.

Paul Anderson
The winger was signed from Hull City in 2006 and was part of the FA Youth Cup winning team. Although he played for the first-team in pre-season against Wrexham he never made a competitive first-team appearance. He then went to Nottingham Forest and is currently at Bristol City for whom he made 30 appearances in 2012-13.

David Martin
The stopper was signed from MK Dons in 2006 and is now back at the club as No.1 'keeper under Karl Robinson. Martin was a regular in the reserve team at Liverpool but never made a competitive first-team appearance. Spells then arrived at Accrington Stanley, Leicester City, Leeds United and Tranmere Rovers.

Jack Hobbs
The centre-back is currently looking forward to life in the Barclays Premier League with Hull City under Steve Bruce. He made 22 appearances as the Tigers won automatic promotion on the final day of a dramatic 2012-13 season. After signing for Liverpool from Lincoln City in 2006 Hobbs made five appearances in the first XI.

Dean Bouzanis
The Australian stopper enjoyed a memorable reunion with Liverpool last season when he played for Oldham Athletic in their FA Cup victory at Boundary Park. He is currently a free agent after being released by the Latics at the end of the season.

Alan Navarro
The Scouser didn't make a first-team appearance at Anfield but has gone on to have a good career. The midfielder made 17 appearances for Swindon Town last season following his move from Brighton. Navarro also had spells with the likes of Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere Rovers and MK Dons.

Ryan Flynn
The young Scot is currently playing for Sheffield United. The Edinburgh born player also had spells with Wrexham and Falkirk.

Adam Hammill
The winger started life in Kirkby and played in the Premier League for Wolves. After a loan spell with Huddersfield Town last season he is back at Molineux hoping for a chance under new boss Kenny Jackett.

Robbie Threlfall
The left-back once scored a fantastic goal at Old Trafford in the FA Youth Cup final and the Kirkby graduate has gone on to have a good career in the Football League. After a spell with Bradford City he is currently playing for Morecambe.

Craig Lindfield
After playing as a striker in his Academy days, Lindfield played for Accrington Stanley last season. Due to injuries he played the last six games of last season as a right-back for Stanley. Lindfield was a regular goal getter at the Academy and netted some fine strikes in the FA Youth Cup.

David Amoo
After leaving Liverpool the winger enjoyed spells with Preston and Tranmere before signing for League One outfit Carlisle United this summer.

Alex Kacaniklic
The left-winger left the Academy in the deal which saw Roy Hodgson bring Paul Konchesky to Anfield. He is now a regular in the Cottagers first-team under Martin Jol.

Gareth Roberts
Gareth is probably best known for his spell at left-back for Tranmere Rovers and is currently at Derby County under former Red Nigel Clough. A full Wales international Roberts also had a spell in Greece under Kop hero Ronnie Whelan at Panionios.

Nathan Eccleston
The striker scored a goal to remember at the Kop end in Jamie Carragher's testimonial and is currently at Blackpool. He made nine appearances in the first XI at Anfield before moving to the seaside.

Pajtim Kasami
The midfielder played in the Youth Cup under Hughie McAuley for the Reds and is now playing in the Barclays Premier League with Fulham. He is a Swiss footballer of Albanian descent and a powerful midfielder. Kasami had a loan spell with Luzern last season.

Zak Whitbread
The American defender is currently plying his trade at Leicester City in the Championship. He made seven appearances for the first-team and went on to enjoy productive spells at Millwall and Norwich City before the move to Leicester materialised.
