For just £6, the lucky owner had access to Wembley Stadium and would witness a famous Reds comeback which secured a league and cup double for Kenny Dalglish's side.
Trailing at half-time to a Gary Lineker strike, a different Liverpool emerged for the second half - a brace from Ian Rush sandwiching a Craig Johnston effort to claim the Reds' third FA Cup.
The all-Merseyside final epitomised a decade of dominance for both halves of the city, with the 1986 clash the second of three showpieces contested in London between the Reds and Blues.
Liverpool had already secured the 1984 Milk Cup following a replay at Maine Road, and the Reds would again overcome Everton for FA Cup glory five weeks after the Hillsborough disaster in 1989 - with Rush bagging twice once more.
