Liverpool Football Club today revealed how fans attending Saturday's fixture with Queens Park Rangers will have the opportunity to collect a FREE ticket to be in with a chance to win a share of £1million, supporting their communities in the process.

The Reds will become the first Barclays Premier League club to team up with People's Postcode Lottery and potentially provide a lucky supporter with the chance to enjoy the Christmas of a lifetime.

In addition, for every FREE activated Golden Ticket, People's Postcode Lottery will donate 40p directly to charity, supporting amazing local causes.

LFC Foundation Director Gary Adlen said: "We have teamed up with People's Postcode Lottery to give our fans a chance to win a share of one million pounds and a percentage of the proceeds will go to great local causes, like the Liverpool FC Foundation."

Free People's Postcode Lottery Golden Tickets will be distributed to fans at Anfield, who must then activate their ticket ahead of the draw on the 28 December.

A postcode will be selected at random and the lucky winners notified.

There is no catch - participation is free and there's no obligation to join the Lottery.

However, fans must ensure they activate their ticket by midnight on 27 December to be in with a chance of winning. Tickets can be activated online at www.postcodelottery.co.uk/lfc.

There are only 2 million tickets up for grabs and once they're gone, they're gone.

All participants must be aged 16 or over.
