As the U18s prepare for their latest league clash at home to Derby County, we continue our starlet in profile feature with Henoc Mukendi.

The versatile frontman originally hails from DR Congo and came close to firing the young Reds to title glory when he netted a brace in the heartbreaking 2-2 draw with Wolves on the final day of last season.

Here he tells us why he loves Harry Potter films, whose clothes leave him in a daze and how he can't wait to open his account this term.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?

Definitely Tom Walsh. He's got loads of skills. I'd put him up against Josh Sumner. He's quite small but he's got some tricks. It'd be a good contest.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Dubai, Palms islands. That'd be a great holiday.

Last album downloaded?

Chris Brown 'Fame'. I just wanted to see what it was like because I had heard a lot about it from the lads.

Last film watched?

The new Harry Potter film. I'm a bit of a fan and I've got the boxset at home.

You aren't such a hardcore fan that you don a magician's hat to watch it are you?

Ha ha, no, definitely not!

Favourite TV show?

Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It's old school but it's come back on TV and I love it.

Worst dresser?

That's a hard one really because there are quite a few. I'd probably say Ryan McLaughlin. He wears really bright colours. It can look a bit crazy.

Worst taste in music?

Nacho. He's into all the Spanish stuff and no-one understands it.

Best moment in football so far?

It was probably the final game of last season when I scored the second goal to put us 2-1 up against Wolves. I hadn't played much and it looked like I might have got the goal that gave us the title.

Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football?

It was in the same game when they equalised to claim a 2-2 draw and end our title hopes. It was a horrible feeling.

Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with - and why?

Tough question. David Moli because he is one my best friends. Tom King is a good lad too. I'm struggling for a third...I'll say Yusuf Mersin. He could be useful for something - I'm not sure what though!

If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?

Baio for his mohican. It's just not great.

Everyone has picked Baio so far...

You've seen it for yourself so I'm sure you can understand why we pick him!

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

Tom Walsh and Kristoffer Peterson. They are always in the mirror.

Best ever player in your position?

Thierry Henry. A great player with magnificent ability.

Best thing about playing for LFC?

The atmosphere around the club and the fans. When you put everything together it's just a special place. It's the best.

And just finally, you play Derby County today - how has the season gone so far?

We've started the season really well and we are playing the way the manager wants us to. We've taken on board what he has said in training and it's been really exciting. It was important that we got our first win last week. The lads were really looking forward to it and we managed to get that goal early in the first half at Portsmouth. I'm really looking forward to Saturday now. I'd love to get my first goal of the season soon and hopefully I'll show people more of what I can do.

You can watch the U18s match with Derby County exclusively live on LFC TV and LFC TV Online on Saturday morning from 11.30am.
