Henderson could make his competitive debut for Liverpool against former club Sunderland at the weekend.

The 21-year-old joined the Black Cats aged seven and helped them to successive U18s titles before impressing in the first team

Our new boy is hoping for a good reception from the Mackems who travel to Anfield.

"I'm not sure what reception I will get from the Sunderland supporters - that is up to them to decide," said Henderson. "I had a great time there and the fans were brilliant with me. I don't see any reason why that would change."
