Daniel Agger's first Liverpool goal was a thing of real beauty.

The Reds trail 1-0 in the 42nd minute of a Premier League meeting with West Ham United at Anfield when the Dane collects a short pass from Xabi Alonso at the edge of the centre-circle.

Agger takes three touches with his left foot.

One to control. A second to set himself. A third to thump a swerving, soaring strike into the top left corner of the Kop-end net that is so clinical, West Ham goalkeeper Roy Carroll can only watch as it hits the net.
