Goal of the Day: Jan Molby's mythical Manchester United strike
Jan Molby scored a spectacular goal with a special place in Liverpool FC folklore against Manchester United back in November 1985.
Video of the Great Dane's stunner only emerged 24 years later as no television cameras were present at the League Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield, which the Reds won 2-1 thanks to this strike and a Molby penalty.
As such, the goal took on an almost mythical quality due to the fact that, for nearly two-and-a-half decades, only those inside the ground that night had witnessed it.
Molby himself released the footage, which had been captured by United's match analysis team, to LFCTV in 2009.
