Goal of the Day: Danny Murphy's first Old Trafford winner
Remind yourself of one of Danny Murphy's finest moments in a Liverpool shirt on the occasion of the former Red's 43rd birthday.
Murphy completed part one of what would become a unique trilogy back in December 2000 by netting the first of his three winning goals at Old Trafford.
The midfielder stroked home a delightful free-kick just before half-time to secure Liverpool’s first victory away to Manchester United for a decade.
“Not many Liverpool teams have won here, so I’m really proud of the players,” said boss Gerard Houllier.
